Fall Flavors Festival Baking & Preserves Competition
9am – 3pm – September 16, Highland Park
Rules & Requirements:
$5 entree fee due up front at the Festival. Contestants may enter more than one item per category. Item(s) must be accompanied by their recipe card(s). The winner of each category will receive a prize and ribbon. Ribbons for 2nd & 3rd place.
Breads – Must be a yeast bread. Includes loaves, rolls, etc.
Fall Dessert – Can be any Fall-themed dessert, from pumpkin quick-breads and pies, to cupcakes and cobblers. Points for creativity.
Jams & Jellies – Must be made from scratch and water bath canned. Open to jams, jellies, & marmalades.
Pickles – Must be water bath canned
Salsas – Fresh or canned
Please arrive and submit your entries at 9am. Judging at 10am. Entries must be picked up by 3pm, or will be forfeit and promptly eaten by the Chamber director & staff.
